About Asgard
ASGARD is a Large Scale Integrated Project supported by the EU within 7th Framework Programme focusing on research of advanced/novel nuclear fuels fabrication and their respective reprocessing issues for Generation IV reactors.
Objectives
To perform novel scientific work to fill in the gaps between existing projects like SACSESS (ACSEPT), FAIRFUELS and EUROTRANS. Not to overlap but complement other projects.
Partnership
Multi-disciplinary consortium composed of European universities, nuclear research bodies and major industrial players coordinated by Chalmers University of Technology (CHALMERS).
